The latest ear worm that seems to be consuming my daily listening is the new Roky Erickson Okkervil River collaboration True Love Cast Out All Evil. Roky has got to be one of the most unique (and underrated) vocalists of his generation. You can feel tons of emotion in Roky’s singing which helps illustrate the lyrics. Its so cool hearing him play with a band of Okkervil’s caliber. I heard that the show they played at The Paramount was epic.
