I’m very excited to share this mighty fine SRV show. This is a flawless soundboard recording from New Year’s Eve 1986 in Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre. You can feel the energy in the room when you listen and although all of Stevie’s performances were jaw dropping there is something different about this one. It probably has something to do with his newly found sobriety. Stevie had just successfully completed rehab two months prior to this show and he sounds completely reinvigorated.
